Gov Naim is an artist that was a part of the Hive Mind Collective – a DIY show and art space – located in Akron, Ohio. As part of Hive Mind they booked shows, ran sound as well as art installations. This was my very first time meeting Gov and we had a pretty fun conversation that covered a lot of ground.

Here are some of the artists/bands we talked about;

Isaac Hayes, Portishead, Hooverphonic, 2Pac, Geto Boys, Jesus and Mary Chain, Boy Harsher, Hope Sandoval, The Cramps, Witchfinder General, Sevdaliza, Harry Belafonte and Sophie.
